CS70N - The Essential Executive Tool
It's true, you know, having the right tool for the job makes any task easier. And for busy executives, that translates into greater efficiency. We heard from one of those busy executives, a valued Plantronics® customer, who has found his award-winning Plantronics CS70N to be an essential tool to his continuing success, and he wanted to share his story:
Convenient, Clean, and Freeing
These are the top three adjectives Aaron uses to describe his Plantronics CS70N to others. Aaron runs an engineering group for a major Silicon Valley high-tech company and spends most of his day teleconferencing with his team of scientists where clarity is essential and ease is valued. He tried using a corded headset at work, but he quickly discovered, "the reality of it - I would kick the cord and then knock the headset to the ground." So Aaron switched to Plantronics' wireless office headsets and never looked back. He started off using the CS50, and loved it so much he recently upgraded to the CS70N, Plantronics' new wireless headset office system that works with all major desk phones. He discovered that his CS70N was easy to set up - "I didn't do anything but plug it in!"
Sound Quality That Delivers
Aaron describes himself as tech-savvy, so he was interested in the CS70N's DECT 6.0 technology. DECT stands for Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications. It uses advanced radio technologies to prevent interference from other audio equipment while providing superior audio quality and digitally secure communications - all at a range of up to 300 feet. And Aaron was impressed that his CS70N delivers the high sound quality it promises. He reports that, while using his CS70N, "I regularly wander 30 or 40 feet from my desk and there is never any interference. The sound is even better than some wired phones I've used! And the beauty is, if I have to roam further I know I can."
The Most Valuable Office Tool
Because Aaron spends much of his day on conference calls, his CS70N has become his most valuable tool. Many of these calls are very long, he notes, "With the long talk time, I never have to worry about my battery dying in the middle of a call. And when I'm ready to charge it up again it's quick and easy." Aaron says he really appreciates the CS70N's comfortable fit during those calls. A CS70N feature Aaron has found to be extremely useful is the ability to adjust the volume and mute on the earpiece. He explains, "Generally in a conference call you have one caller whose phone is louder than the rest. Being able to adjust the volume on the earpiece on the fly is helpful." Aaron also found that multitasking is easier with his CS70N. "Often in teleconferences there's data sharing, and being able to interact with my computer at the same time is useful and has made me more productive."
Protecting Our Resources
Aaron is concerned about protecting the environment, and admits, "I'm sometimes embarrassed by the sheer amount of packaging that goes into our industry's products." So he loves the fact that Plantronics uses recycled packaging material with the CS70N.
