Spokes Known Issue: No publisher name in User Account Control during unistall

Issue

When Spokes is uninstalled under Windows Vista and prior OS versions, the Windows User Account Control (UAC) ‘consent’ dialog box shows the warning message “An unidentified program wants access to your computer” and displays “Unidentified Publisher".

Cause

This is a known shortcoming with versions of the Windows Installer shipped prior to Windows 7 (see, e.g., http://blogs.msdn.com/b/heaths/archive/2009/02/02/changes-to-package-caching-in-windows-installer-5-0.aspx).

Workaround/Resolution

Ignore the warning message and select “Allow” in the UAC consent dialog box to continue the Spokes uninstall.
