My BackBeat FIT is stuck in device firmware upgrade mode - the LED won't stop flashing purple. How do I fix this?
This problem arises due to a Bluetooth link issue in iOS 7.1 while updating the BackBeat FIT's firmware using the BackBeat FIT Updater app. It is possible for the connection between the headphones and iPhone to be lost, which causes the upgrade to fail and leave the product stuck in update mode.
You should be able to resolve this issue as follows:
Connect your BackBeat FIT to a charger so that it powers on.
Make sure your headphones are paired to your phone. For information on how to pair, see the pairing instructions.
Using the BackBeat FIT Updater app, finish the firmware update.
