Savi 700 Series Troubleshooting: Desk phone call hangs up immediately after answering when using the call control button while Spokes is running on the PC

Question

I am using a Savi 700 series headset with the APS-10/11 EHS cable and Siemens OpenStage 60. When Spokes is running, I cannot answer the hard phone as it picks up then hangs up immediately while using the call control button. I disable Spokes and EHS works normally. What is the issue?

Answer

Base firmware version 19.78 and headset version 19.4 for the Savi 700 series has fixed the issue.  The problem is also going to be addressed in an update to the APS-11 EHS cable.
