Savi 700 Series Troubleshooting: Talk Time Degraded
I am experiencing a lower talk time than advertised for this product. Is there anything can I do to fix this?
If you are operating on wideband frequency, you will notice a decrease in talk time.
If you primarily use the Savi product with a desk phone, you can change the frequency to narrowband to increase your talk time. Our desk phone setting is defaulted to narrowband.
If you primarily use the Savi product with your computer, you can change the frequency to narrowband to increase talk time as well; however, you will notice a decrease in audio quality.
If you use the high range setting on the headset, you will experience decreased talk time. The headset draws more power from the base the further away you go. If you tend to stay at your desk or do not need to be moving around much during telephone calls, consider changing the range setting to low.
