Calisto 800 Series: How to Transfer Mobile Calls To and From the Speakerphone

If I am on a cell phone call through my Calisto speakerphone, is there a way to transfer the call audio to my phone, so that I can leave my home/office (and vice versa)?

Procedure

You have two options for transferring the audio from your speakerphone to your cell phone: You can take your cell phone calls out of range of your speakerphone by using the Calisto's "Take mobile call on the go" feature or you can simply transfer the audio to your cell phone, but you must stay in range of the speakerphone.

To take your cell phone call out of range of your speakerphone:

  1. Make or receive a cell phone call, with the audio routed through the Calisto speakerphone.
  2. On the speakerphone, press Options, and then select Take call on the go. The Calisto transfers the audio to your cell phone, and then disconnects from your cell phone.

To transfer the audio of your phone call from your speakerphone to your cell phone:

  1. Make or receive a cell phone call, with the audio routed through the Calisto speakerphone.
  2. On the speakerphone, press Options, and then select Transfer audio to Mobile. The Calisto transfers the audio to your cell phone, and remains connected to your cell phone.

To transfer the audio of your cell phone call to your speakerphone:

  1. Make or receive a call on your cell phone.
  2. When you get into range of the speakerphone, it will prompt you if you want to connect to your cell phone. Press Yes. If it doesn't prompt you, you can manually connect to the speakerphone by selecting Menu > Bluetooth > Connect [your phone name].
  3. On the speakerphone, press Options, and then select Transfer audio back to Calisto. The Calisto transfers the audio of your cell phone call to the speakerphone.

Tips:

  • If you want to use a Bluetooth headset on your cell phone call after you stop using the Calisto, you may have to manually route the audio to the headset using your cell phone.
  • We recommend you use a headset with multipoint technology, which would enable you to pair and connect with both your cell phone and Calisto.
