  1. On your cell phone, make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
  2. Power on the headset.
  3. Press and hold the the volume + and call control buttons simultaneously for 5-6 seconds until the light on the headset starts flashing an alternating red-blue. Release the buttons and set the headset aside.
  4. On your cell phone, go to the Bluetooth menu and search for (or add) a device. The cell phone should find the headset, which will appear as "PLT_510" in your list of devices.
  5. If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000 (four zeros). Note: Do not be alarmed if your phone does not prompt you for a passkey, because many phones do not.

Note: The Bluetooth USB adapter comes pre-paired to the headset; however, if you find that you need to pair your headset to the adapter again, you can do so by performing the following steps.

  1. Power on the headset.
  2. Press and hold the the volume + and call control buttons simultaneously for 5-6 seconds until the light on the headset starts flashing an alternating red-blue. Release the buttons and set the headset aside.
  3. Plug the Bluetooth USB adapter into the computer. Pinch the button on the adapter for 5-6 seconds until the light starts flashing an alternating red-blue. Once the devices pair successfully, the lights on the headset and adapter stop flashing. Important: Take caution when manually pairing the USB adapter. Do not press hard. Pinch with both fingers rather than push on the adapter to avoid damage to the adapter or USB port.

Tip: Do not insert the USB adapter into a docking station.
