Spokes Known Issue with Voyager Legend UC: NEC Calls on Windows XP are Answered with Mute on

Issue

On Windows XP, incoming calls using the Voyager Legend UC (or Voyager PRO UC) headset and NEC UNIVERGE SP350 v5.2 softphone set the microphone to mute when answered.

Cause

SP350 v5.2 made timing changes which cause incorrect mute operation on Windows XP.

Workaround/Resolution

Use SP350 v5.1 instead, or upgrade to Windows Vista, 7 or 8.
