Discovery 925/975 Troubleshooting: Can't Hear Caller/Dial Tone


I'm unable to hear a dial tone or the caller. How can I fix this?


It may be the case that:
  • The headset is not turned on. Press the call control button for approximately 2 seconds until you hear a tone or see the indicator glow blue (Discovery 925) or white (Discovery 975).
  • The headset is out of range of the phone. Move the headset closer to the phone.
  • Your headset battery is drained. If so, charge the battery.
  • The listening volume is too low. Incremental tapping of the volume button will adjust the volume.
