Troubleshooting Tips for the CT10 TelephoneAnswer
No Dial Tone Check that:- You are plugging the CT10 into a Single Line, Analog telephone jack.
- The CT10 battery is fully charged. The battery may need a charge when you first install it. The Charge light will flash and stay lit, if it needs a charge. Once the battery is fully charged, the Charge light will go out.
- All cords are connected correctly and firmly in place.
- The remote is in range of the base.
- Adjusting the Dual Function Receive Volume Control key (the * key) to increase the volume.
- Separating and then reconnecting the battery and the remote unit.
- Returning the remote to the charging base for 5 seconds to re-establish the communication link.
- Verify that the mute button is not on.
- Try pushing the channel button on the remote unit.
- Make sure the headset is making a solid connection to the remote unit.

- Keep the CT10 system dry. If it gets wet, unplug the AC adapter, and then wipe the unit dry immediately. Liquids can contain minerals that can corrode electronic circuits.
- Use and store the CT10 only in normal temperature environments. Extreme temperatures can shorten the life of electronic components and/or distort (or even melt) its plastic parts.
- Keep the CT10 system away from dust and dirt, which can cause premature product failure. Use a clean cloth to clean unit of dust.
- You may want to periodically swab the metal prong of the headset with rubbing alcohol to keep it dust free.
- Handle the CT10 system gently and carefully. Dropping it can cause serious damage to circuitry, or plastic case, which may result in the unit malfunctioning.
