Savi 700 Series/CS500 Series Troubleshooting: Echo with Cisco 79XX Phones

My callers report that they hear an echo when I use my Savi 700 series/CS500 series headset with with a Cisco 79XX phone. Can this be fixed?


The echo can be fixed by toggling the Handset/Headset monitor variable in Cisco Call Manager for this phone to ‘Disabled’. This will exclusively route the call audio to the headset when the headset is used.
